Betsy Duckworth is a writer and artist based in Connecticut who often uses found, recycled, and upcycled material in her work, allowing the voice of her scavenged bits and bobs to dictate her pieces. She is particularly fond of fallen and dried flora, work textiles, and rusted metals, as they all have a story to tell. Betsy has a BA in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and has studied at the University of the Arts, Pennland School of Crafts, and Parsons. When she is not making, she is writing or spending time with her husband and son and their rescue hound mix, Charlie, the best dog ever.
