Sherman Historical Society, Inc.
Mission
A local history museum, private and not-for-profit, the Society supports the David Northrop House (c. 1829) and the Old Store Museum and Gift Shop (c. 1820) located in Sherman Center.
The mission of the society is
- To bring together people interested in the Town’s history
- To collect and preserve objects which help to establish or illustrate its history

Regularly Scheduled Meetings
Second Tuesday at 7:30 PM monthly except for December and July.
Tours are open by appointment except when open for events.
Old Store open Thursday through Sunday, April through December from 12 – 4 PM.
Other Information
A town-wide membership mailing goes out once a year. Memberships are available year around.

The archives are open for genealogy and research by appointment.
